CAMTIR / PLANNED PRODUCT
CAMTIR PATROL
Turn suspected violations into reviewable cases.
CAMTIR Patrol is a planned traffic-event review system. It aims to identify possible violations from appropriately collected road imagery, associate the observation with time and location, and prepare a traceable case for authorized human review. Proposed workflows include evidence quality checks, duplicate detection, review notes, case status and controlled reporting. Detection is not proof of guilt: CAMTIR cannot issue traffic fines, and any official enforcement would require legal authorization and review by competent authorities.
01 / THE PROBLEM
Potential traffic violations require careful evidence handling.
Camera footage can suggest a traffic event without proving the circumstances. Image quality, road markings, location, context and local law all matter. Poorly structured evidence or premature automated conclusions can undermine fairness and reliability.
02 / THE PRODUCT
A review-first traffic event workspace.
CAMTIR Patrol aims to help authorized reviewers examine potential traffic violations detected from lawfully obtained observations. Each candidate event would be associated with its source, relevant context and a review status. The system is designed to support evaluation, not to replace it.
03 / PLANNED WORKFLOWS
From candidate event to accountable review.
Proposed capabilities include candidate-event identification, evidence quality screening, duplicate checks, reviewer annotations, case queues, audit history and controlled export. Every determination would require appropriate human and legal review.
04 / LEGAL BOUNDARIES
Detection does not mean a fine.
CAMTIR does not independently issue traffic fines or determine guilt. Any transfer to an authority, official notice or sanction would depend on applicable legislation, approvals, procedural safeguards and authorized institutions.
05 / STATUS
Planned initial product.
Patrol is a planned product. No official enforcement partnership or live penalty integration is represented by this page.
THE PARTICIPANT NETWORK
How road observations enter the system.
CAMTIR proposes an opt-in mobile application through which eligible drivers may contribute permitted road observations during their normal journeys. A potential kilometer-based rewards program would compensate eligible, verified distance under published pilot terms, not simply the number of kilometers shown by a phone. A participant dashboard would distinguish total distance from accepted distance, pending verification, rejected segments, applicable reward rates and payout limits. No reward or live program is guaranteed at this stage.
The proposed processing sequence is: participant consent and safe capture; trip validation and privacy controls; screening for road or traffic signals; confidence and quality checks; appropriate human review; and structured routing to the relevant product. Atlas focuses on road condition, Patrol on potential traffic events and Command on coordinated operational review. Data access and retention would depend on permissions, contracts and local law.
